An hour of consultation can often save many hundreds of dollars in expensive landscape mistakes, which often require even more expensive removal or rearranging. Garden consultations are a great way for a homeowner to develop an overall plan for their property, select appropriate plants for various landscape situations, and prioritize and organize the tasks involved in implementing the plan over a desired time frame. Before your visit to the nursery, decide on the area to be worked on and bring in a rough sketch with measurements and dimensions of the area you wish to work on. Since this is a fairly short consult, it's best to focus on a specific area rather than the entire yard if its a large one. Note any existing large features (house, trees, driveway, pool, etc) and be aware if it is sunny or shady and what type of soil conditions are there. It is also good to bring in as many photos of the area you wish to work on as possible showing views to and from the house and street. Consultations are available anytime so please feel free to visit or call to set up a day and time that's convenient for you.

 *Consultations are free of charge based on a minimum plant purchase (approx. $250.00 per hour of consultation time) by the customer or purchase of a gift certificate worth to be used for future plant purchases. Certificate can be used at any time during the season and they make wonderful gifts!
